Ingredients:

2 apples, cut into small pieces

1 tbsp cornstarch

½ cup sugar

Sprinkle of cinnamon powder

½ cup softened butter

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla

½ cup milk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder


Instructions:

In a bowl, mix the diced apples with ½ cup of sugar, 1 tbsp of cornstarch, and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder.

Spread the apple mixture evenly into a 9x6" baking dish.

In a separate medium bowl, combine ½ cup of softened butter, ½ cup of sugar, 1 large egg, 1 tsp of vanilla, and ½ cup of milk. Mix well and set aside.

Add 1 cup of flour and 1 ½ tsp of baking powder to the wet ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Pour the batter over the diced apples in the baking dish, spreading it to cover the fruit.

Bake at 350°F for approximately 40 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown.
